Our Story

What started as a passion for youth baseball has grown into Oli Sports & Culture, a dedicated partner for international schools seeking high-quality after-school baseball and cultural programs. With nearly a decade of experience in youth baseball development in Beijing, we understand the unique needs of schools, students, and ASA coordinators.

Founding OliSports

OliSports brings together years of expertise in baseball, youth development, and sports education—blending structured, engaging programs with proven teaching methodologies.

2023

Expanding Coaching & Market Understanding

Returned to coaching at local clubs and international schools like Daystar Academy, gaining a broader understanding of Beijing’s baseball landscape.

2020 - 2022

Data-Driven Performance Analysis in Youth Sports

Developed expertise in baseball performance tracking and sports data analysis, helping young athletes refine their skills through measurable insights.

2017-2019

Movement-Based Learning & Motor Skill Development

Worked at Ready Steady Go Kids (RSGK), applying an occupational therapy approach to youth sports coaching with a focus on early childhood development.

International School Coaching

Coached at the International School of Beijing (ISB), gaining firsthand experience working in an international school environment.

Coaching at Local Clubs

Began working with local baseball clubs, refining youth training programs and adapting coaching methods to fit the local sports culture.

Fresh out of university, I arrived with big ambitions—determined to make an impact, to build something meaningful. I didn’t have a company, a program, or even a clear path—just a relentless drive to combine my passion for sports with education.

Oliver

Founder & Director of Operations

Beihang master’s graduate with a passion for youth sports education and performance development. With a background in baseball, data analysis, and movement-based coaching, Oliver has worked with top international schools and clubs across China, designing skill-focused programs that inspire young athletes. Now, through OliSports, he brings a fresh, structured approach to after-school sports education.

Cultural Operations

Nebrija University master’s graduate and experienced language educator, Sofia has been teaching Spanish at Beijing City University while fostering cross-cultural connections through education. As Director of Cultural Events at OliSports, she leads engaging workshops in arts, crafts, and language, creating immersive experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity in young learners.
